In a bizarre crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.

The questline focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
